Food Pantry – The item of the month for August is laundry detergent pods or dishwasher detergent pods. Please bring your donation to the office during the week, or you can leave your contributions in the narthex on Sunday.
Church Unbound – We are now part of the Church Unbound mission and we need donations of socks, lip balm, sunscreen, and pet food. Please see Donna Clopton to find out how you can help.
No Wednesday Service – There will be no service on Wednesday, July 22. Regular Wednesday services will resume July 29.
Amigas – The July Amigas lunch is Friday, July 17 at O’Niell’s (3301 Juan Tabo) at 11:30 AM.
Winburn Funeral– The funeral for Haley Winburn will be held on Saturday, July 25 at 10 A.M.
Membership Update Forms – In an effort to ensure that our records are up to date, each family is requested to complete a Membership Update Form, along with an Emergency Contact Form. An envelope for each family containing these documents has been prepared and is on the table in the narthex. Please complete these forms at your earliest convenience and return them to the basket marked for them on the table.
Camp Stoney Early Bird Registration – Camp Stoney will take place July 5 through July 18, and early bird registration is open until April 1 (save $50!). If you have children or grandchildren who would be interested in attending camp this year, please contact Patty in the church office for more information.
Healing the Brokenhearted – Grief Happens! Grief happens to all of us for many reasons. If you are struggling with grief, please consider attending. There will be some interactive, introspective and learning components to this 6-week program to be held on Monday evenings, June 1 through July 6, from 5:30-7:00 in the Conference Room. Attendees may bring their own supper and eat together at 5:00. Registration is open to everyone; call 505-250-1610 or e-mail Mother Jan: motherjanhosea@gmail.com. A sign-up sheet is available on the table in the narthex.
Sabbatical – Mother Jan will be on sabbatical during the months of July and August. Don’t worry! We several guest preachers lined up, and let’s don’t forget our very own Father Dan.
